BBVA acts as exclusive financial advisor to TSK on the sale of approximately 85% of the Durango Solar Portfolio
BBVA is pleased to announce that it has served as the exclusive financial advisor to TSK on the sale of approximately 85% of its equity interest in a 146.5 MWp (megawatt peak) / 112.35 MWac (megawatt alternating current) portfolio of solar power plants located in Durango, Mexico, to AINDA Energía e Infraestructura.
The assets operate under Mexico’s Electricity Industry Law (LIE), providing regulatory stability in a favorable framework. They also boast a proven operational track record of over four years. EOSOL, a company with more than 16 years of experience in renewable energy and a footprint in over 45 countries, will remain a minority shareholder with an approximately 15% stake.
Headquartered in Spain, TSK is a global player specialized in the execution of EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects across the industrial, energy, and sustainable infrastructure sectors. This transaction enables TSK to divest non-core assets, reallocate capital, and focus on its core business.
AINDA is a leading Mexico-based private equity fund, focused on energy and infrastructure investments across Latin America. The acquisition of the Durango Solar Portfolio supports its strategy of investing in long-term contracted assets and further strengthens its position in the renewable energy space, expanding its portfolio beyond 360 MWp.
BBVA played a critical role in the success of this transaction, delivering end-to-end financial advisory services — from strategic assessment and deal structuring to buyer engagement and negotiation. Our deep sector expertise and cross-border execution capabilities allowed us to optimize value for our client and ensure a seamless closing.
With this transaction, BBVA reaffirms its leadership in Mexico’s energy sector, having advised on 13 transactions in the space since 2012, and solidifies its position as the most active investment bank in the country with 117 M&A transactions since that year.
