ARZYZ successfully closes a USD400 million syndicated loan

BBVA Mexico acted as Sole Lead Arranger & Bookrunner and Administrative Agent in a syndicated loan to ARZYZ, "Leading Mexico’s Aluminum Industry," for USD 400 million, divided in 2 tranches: a term loan line for USD300 million at 5 years, and a revolving line of USD100 million at 3 years.

This deal is part of ARZYZ's Vision 2030 Project. The company will use the proceeds to build a new rolling mill, expand existing plants, install energy infrastructure, and supply the additional logistics required. This will enable it to expand its range of alloys and presentations to serve new market segments.

With 44 years of experience, ARZYZ has gained prominence as a manufacturer of aluminum alloys and seller of non-ferrous metals, serving strategic industries such as automotive, construction, and technology. With this type of financing it aims to transform Mexico’s aluminum industry through vertical integration that will raise manufacturing standards and open new opportunities for innovation and excellence.

BBVA Mexico is the leading bank in syndicated loans, with a 26% market share in terms of number of deals at the close of this year’s first quarter. It has a team of professionals specializing in the business, who can design and execute various financing and capital solutions.

We congratulate ARZYZ, "Leading Mexico’s Aluminum Industry," on this significant transaction and thank them for the trust placed in us by selecting us as Sole Lead Arranger & Bookrunner and Administrative Agent in this deal, with which we reiterate our commitment to the development and growth of Mexico.
