BBVA participates as Joint Bookrunner in the successful placement of Securities Certificates for Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico
We are pleased to announce the successful placement of Securities Certificates (CEBURs) by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP), rated mxAAA by Standard & Poor's and Aaa.mx by Moody's, for a total of MXN 6 billion. The transaction was carried out in two formats:
- GAP 22-2: MXN 3 billion were placed in a reopening of the issuance, with a remaining tenor of 7.1 years, priced at a spread of 50 basis points over the MBono 2031, and carrying a 10.24% coupon.
- GAP 25: MXN 3 billion were placed in a new issuance with a 3-year tenor, priced at TIIE de Fondeo +50 basis points.
BBVA participated as Joint Bookrunner in this issue, which saw total demand of approximately 17,175 million pesos, equivalent to a bid-to-cover ratio of 3.4 times. The book had a diversified investor base, with the participation of Afores, development banks and decentralized organizations, brokerage firms, money desks, investment funds and insurance companies, as well as private banks and independent advisors.
Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP) is one of the main private operators of airport services in Mexico, with a 50-year concession to manage 14 airports covering key destinations in the Pacific (Guadalajara, Tijuana, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, La Paz, Manzanillo and other cities) and the Caribbean (Montego Bay and Kingston in Jamaica).
