BBVA México acted as Joint Bookrunner and Sustainable Agent in a placement of notes for Banco Compartamos totaling MXN3 billion

BBVA México is pleased to announce the successful placement of an issue of notes by Banco Compartamos for a total of MXN3 billion. The issue was placed in a floating format, at a term of 3.5 years and a price of 63 basis points over the TIIE.

Response to the issuance was positive, reflected in a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.9 times, the notes were assigned the ESG Social label, with a focus on promoting financial inclusion for hundreds of thousands of microentrepreneurs in the country.

The notes were placed across a diversified base of investors, including AFOREs, money desks, investment funds, private banks, equity advisors and insurance companies.
