BBVA México is Administrative Agent and Structuring Bank for Fibra EXI’s Syndicated Loan

BBVA México is pleased to announce the successful closing of a syndicated loan for Fibra EXI totaling MXN3.2 billion pesos, the proceeds of which will be used to purchase a equity share in highway assets.

The deal was structured into two tranches:

• Tranche A: MXN2.7 billion pesos at a term of 5 years, with a 12-month grace period and rising principal payments

• Tranche B: A revolving credit facility for MXN500 million pesos at a term of 3 years

Mexico Infrastructure Partners (MIP), FIBRA EXI’s sponsor, is a leading infrastructure fund manager in Mexico and Latin America.

MIP operates USD3.3 billion in administrated assets and is the largest administrator in the local energy, infrastructure and telecommunications fund market.
