BBVA México leads a Syndicated Loan to Grupo Cuprum for up to USD280 million

BBVA México is pleased to announce the closure of a new syndicated loan for Grupo Curpum for USD280 million, to be used to roll over debt and fund capex for a new plant in its Automotive Division.  The loan has one revolving tranche for USD 80 million at a term of 3 years plus an additional one-year extension, and another simple loan tranche for up to USD 200 million.

Grupo Cuprum is a Mexican industrial firm with 75 years of history, engaged in the manufacture, sale and distribution of aluminum. It is a Latin American leader in the manufacture and sale of extruded aluminum products like ladders, industrial profiles, windows and automotive parts.

In this deal, BBVA acted as Sole Lead Arranger & Bookrunner, and thanks Grupo Cuprum for entrusting this key transaction to us, through which we support the company in the investments it needs to fulfill its growth plans.
