BBVA México leads a Syndicated Loan to HIR Casa for up to MXN 2 billion

BBVA México acted as Sole Bookrunner & Lead Arranger and Administrative Agent for a syndicated loan to  HIR Casa for up to MXN2 billion. The loan consists of a first revolving tranche at up to 18 months, which later becomes an amortizable loan at a term of 60 months.

The proceeds of the loan will be used to acquire collection rights during the life of the revolving portion, the creation of reserve accounts and for costs and expenses relating to the loan, and for general corporate purposes.

HIR Casa is a Mexican company, a member of Grupo HIR, which has more than 65 years of experience and a strong presence in the real-estate business as developer, advisor and lender. Specifically, through HIR Casa, it supports families seeking to acquire real-estate property by purchasing, building or remodeling a new or existing property. At the close of 2022 it was the largest originator and administrator in the real-estate autofinancing business, with an amount of more than 36 billion pesos in titles assumed and more than 17,000 clients throughout its history.
