BBVA Mexico participates in a 2 billion pesos Club Loan for Grupo Lamosa.

 

BBVA Mexico acted as Co-Structurer in a simple loan for Grupo Lamosa in the successful closing of a Club Loan, with a 7-year, floating-rate loan of MXN666 million pesos for a total amount of MXN2 billion pesos. The proceeds of this loan will be used to improve the maturity profile of other debt.

 

Grupo Lamosa, the second largest ceramic tile manufacturer in the world, is a century-old Mexican company that offers a wide range of high-value products for construction professionals, helping to preserve the assets and reputation of all its clients.

 

Founded in 1890 in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, Grupo Lamosa has gradually built up its presence in Mexico and abroad, establishing a significant footprint in the Americas and, in recent years,  Europe. It specializes in the manufacture of ceramic floor and wall tiles and adhesives, as well as expanded polystyrene products used mainly as insulators and lighteners in the construction industry.
