Fibra Prologis closes on a short-term loan from BBVA for USD 50 million
Mx BBVA CIB congratulates Fibra Prologis for its successful closure of a short-term loan for USD 50 million, to be used for general corporate purposes.
Fibra Prologis is a real-estate investment trust or REIT, known as a FIBRA in Mexico, dedicated to acquiring, owning and administering class-A properties for the manufacturing and logistics industries. It currently has a gross leasable area (GLA) of 4 million square meters distributed among 227 properties, with a total value of approximately USD3.84 billion.
One of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) aims of Fibra Prologis to achieve net zero emissions in its entire value chain by the year 2040. The company has proven its firm commitment to this target by obtaining sustainable certification for 49% of its portfolio and installing LED lighting in 67% of its warehouse and office space. Furthermore, its employees have donated 409 hours of volunteer time and 100% of them have been trained in ethics and anticorruption, among other things.
