BBVA: Main Partner of Energy Tech Summit 2025

 

BBVA is sponsoring the upcoming Energy Tech Summit 2025 on 9-10 April in Bilbao. Launched by climate tech VC firm Contrarian Ventures, it is now known as one of Europe’s top conferences in the sector. 

This two-day event - set to take place in Bilbao, a cornerstone of BBVA's history - will bring together +1500 investors, disruptors, corporations as well as government representatives from +40 countries. As the Main Partner, BBVA will be involved in several initiatives.

BBVA's Participation and Agenda at Energy Tech Summit 2025

Together with Contrarian Ventures, BBVA will host the Growth Meets Capital, Growth Meets Industry and Growth Meets Infrastructure side events. The first initiative will connect later-stage (Series A+) climate tech companies with leading global climate tech growth investors, including funds in which BBVA has investment commitments. Growth Meets Industry aims to bring together innovative companies with corporate industries from across the globe that are at the cutting-edge of decarbonization. Finally, Growth Meets Infrastructure will explore what’s next in data centers infrastructure.

Moreover, four BBVA representatives will take part in timely discussions with other industry experts. Get ready for thought-provoking discussions on decarbonization, funding innovation, and reshaping global energy markets.
